Can I use the EB300 extra battery on its own without the RIVER 3 Plus?
Yes. The EB300 has its own 140W USB-C input/output built in. You can charge it independently and use it as a standalone battery pack for laptops, phones, and USB-C devices. When you need more capacity for AC devices, snap it onto the RIVER 3 Plus.
Will the UPS function keep my desktop PC running during a blackout?
Yes, with caveats. The under-10ms switchover is fast enough for consumer PCs, NAS units, and routers (they won't restart or lose data). At 600W continuous output, it can run a 600W desktop for ~21 minutes on the base 286Wh, or ~42 minutes with the EB300 stacked. That's plenty of time to save your work and shut down safely. For continuous operation during long outages, you'd need solar or generator input.
How fast does it charge and can I use solar?
The RIVER 3 Plus charges from 0-100% in 60 minutes via AC (500W X-Stream fast charging). Solar input up to 220W recharges it in ~1.5 hours with a suitable panel. The bundle supports car charging (12V), generator input, and USB-C input as well. The EB300 charges alongside the main unit when stacked.
Can I stack more than one extra battery?
One extra battery at a time. The RIVER 3 Plus supports either the EB300 (286Wh, included in this bundle) or the EB600 (572Wh) — maximum stacked capacity is 858Wh with the EB600. For our bundle you get 572Wh total (286Wh main + 286Wh EB300).
What's the difference between the RIVER 3 and RIVER 3 Plus?
Both use LiFePO4 chemistry with 5-year warranty. Key differences: RIVER 3 has 245Wh / 300W output. RIVER 3 Plus has 286Wh / 600W output, includes UPS mode (under 10ms), expandable with EB300/EB600, and has more ports (7 vs 5). If you want backup power for a PC or need more AC power, choose the Plus. For basic camping and phone/laptop charging, the base RIVER 3 is enough.
Is this genuine EcoFlow product with UK warranty?
Yes. Litrium is an authorised EcoFlow reseller in the UK. All units come with EcoFlow's full 5-year manufacturer warranty valid in the UK. We ship from our Gillingham warehouse — no grey-market imports, no warranty risks. Units are new, sealed, and covered by UK consumer rights.
How long does UK delivery take?

Full 30-day return window for unopened units. Opened units can be returned within 14 days if in original condition (per UK Consumer Contracts Regulations).
